My 74 Eldorado has an issue with hood oil-canning. Going down the road, the hood doesn't "flop" as much as the panels quiver ne oil-can at cruise speed. Have adjust and it is seated well when latched....is it possible that there is such a span of sheet met that this is normal? It is a monster hood!
