Behold the everlasting glory!
Revel in the shining glamour!
Bask in the heavenly scent of burned hydrocarbons!

That '58, 60 Special makes me drool.

The '59? Well, kinda a given!

On the first picture: a '56 car (except Eldo). Why '56? because of the upper chrome molding leading to the rear lamp!

Roger even though you are one of the "Cadillac Gods", are you sure the first picture shows a '56 CAD?  1954 - 1956 tailights were the same (except as you noted). But the '56 had a tiny chrome spear on the very top of the red plastic lens, while the '54 & '55 lenses did not have that added bit of chrome spear shaped trim. At first glance that trim appears to be on top, but on closer examination it looks to be glare, just below the top of the lens. So the top area appears void of that chrome trim. Just non-image forming glare slightly below that area. So this tailight appears to be a '54 or a '55, unless my eyes are playing tricks on me. Clay/Lexi

I will have to agree with Clay on this one. The taillight looks more like a 54 or 55. I dont see the chrome bead trim that leads to the tail light that 56's have nor do I see the chrome spear that is affixed to the top of only 1956 tail lights. It may be the reflection on the paint playing tricks on us.

Derick, I think Roger was just testing the rest of us to see if we were paying attention! Clay/Lexi

You are right, there is no chrome trim on top of the lens...Ah! reflexions can fool people!

Even I thought at first it was a '56 Roger. Interesting photo and a fun eye catching test it was. Clay/Lexi
