On our fleetwood the Inner Fender wells have large factory runs in the paint. What do You donwith the restoration. What is Considered appropriate here?  Blast the paint off during the restoration or Preserve these runs in the Paint

If you're going through the entire car to do a proper restoration I would blast
the runs off and repaint the inner fenders properly with black semi gloss.

Could be you have a Monday car when "Bubba" had a bad day.

Drips, runs and sags are perfectly appropriate in the inner areas.  These parts were painted along with the chassis parts and they were not concerned with appearance.  These areas were painted for protection, not to look pretty.

Only the bodies were painstakingly wet-sanded and polished, not the cowls, radiator supports and inner fender wells.
