Yeah,
The '40 is cut down and what you don't see is the LR corner of the car is smashed and the interior is mostly gone.  He's had it for sale for a looong time.  IIRC he started at $9000.00 for it.

     Convertible sedans rear doors are front opening ( suicide) doors. Sedans open from the rear same as front doors. A quick giveaway on a cut down sedan.   Jim Stamper CLC#13470

      Well, open mouth and put foot in as I did above.  The Model 52s sedans and convertible sedans do have rear opening rear doors. One of the changes incorporated into the other lines next year I think.   

      The ads are gone now, I would like another look.

The 50 Series cars had rear hinged rear doors.
The 52 Series cars had front hinged rear doors.
