Lexi

Started Lexi up and took her out for a spin today. No issues. Felt good to get behind the wheel again. After storage the tires had not lost any air pressure. Inflated to 40 psi 6 months ago to park and all still dead on at 40 when backed out of storage to adjust tire pressure for driving. Clay/Lexi

Glad to hear that Lexi is finally out and about again. Bet you were thrilled about that too!

Yes I am and you helped to keep her on the road buddy. Now we all want to learn about Norma Jean's maiden voyage some day soon, with you at her helm. Clay/Lexi

I'm afraid that day is still a long way off yet. She probably won't be getting the full restoration that I had hoped to do, due to economic factors beyond my control.
But I'm still plugging away at the parts to get her back to working order. Trying to fix the temperature sensor that goes on the evaporator case right now. I finally got the nichrome wire inserted through the insulation only to break it while wrapping it around the capillary tube. So now I've got to locate another long piece of nichrome wire. Guess I'll be taking apart another soldering iron for that.
And I had both wires soldered to the end of the tube so nicely too.
