I got my small brass crimps. Connected the wires and heat shrunk. But I made a mistake, as I tried to fit the cap  the rotor lifted above the brushes and they popped out. Took a minute for me to reinstall them.

Then I tested the motor to make sure it was working. It was a bit slow, and I realized I forgot to clean the old grease.

I should have cleaned the grease before paint. The electric parts cleaner stripped paint off. I will let this completely dry overnight and tape off and repaint tomorrow. I will finish assembly then. Good note the motor moved much faster after cleaning.
