On the firewall of a 1937 Series 60, near the top, are two fittings ( right and left ) that the hood halves rest on when the hood is opened up and raised. I think they are spring loaded.
Anyone have a pair of these ?

....still looking for a pair of hood rests for a 1937 Cadillac series 60.....
You might have to make them Jack. Let me know if you want pictures.
Are these the same as the 75 series? My Master Parts List says they are a different part number (1421857 and 1421858 instead of 142 1859 and 1421860) but the Seat Rubber is the same so.......
I think I have a spare set for a 75 series somewhere.
John.....I don't know....but maybe they will still work with a little effort ???
Could you sent me a photo and maybe lay a ruler beside it when you take the photo ??

Thanks Jack Worstell
Send me a picture or post it here John and I'll compare them to mine for Jacks benefit.
Thanks John and Steve.

I found these but the next question is, do I have two sets? I think so but where?
Steve,
Perhaps if you start by even telling us if they are corrrect for the 60 series?
They are the same John. Only missing their roller rubber on the shaft.
