I see in several posts here that people recommending going to dealers for parts or info on older cars.  In my area (Minneapolis MN USA)  you would be lucky to get parts or info for a 10 year old car.  I had trouble getting parts for my 95 Deville 2 years ago.  The way they acted when I was asking for those parts (in stock) I would hate to think of their response if I asked for something for my 73.

Just wondering is that just the dealers in my area?
73 Eldo convert w/FiTech EFI, over 30 years of ownership and counting
Somewhat recently deceased daily drivers, 80 Eldo Diesel & 90 CDV
And other assorted stuff I keep buying for some reason

My advice is to build a relationship with the dealer parts manager and have your newer
cars serviced there.  I got to know the fellows at one local dealer pretty well -- so well
that they actually called me to let me know the were "selling out" inventories for
a certain year.  I had first pick at discounted prices for NOS parts.

Give it a try -- you can't lose -- better than buying on flea-bay!
