I am looking for the over all length from point to point of the original 1957 Cadillac series 62 ( not Brougham ) front hood vee . I have two after market Vee’s one measures 15 7/8 and the other 17 1/2 . Both are marked 1957 Cadillac hood on the back . Just purchased one from McVeys and that is the one that is 17 1/2 . Both hole patterns match . Thank you for your time .

1957 point to point 17 3/8 inches 58 16 5/8 inches I have three or four 57's two were 17 3/8 and one was 17 1/2. May have been bent at one time to make the difference in length. I also have a 56 that is 16 inches, but only has three mounting pins. I didn't measure width of VEE or distance of mounting pins. Hope this helps. Frank

Thank you very much , not sure where the other Vee came from , however it does fit the hole pattern on the 57 Cadillac hood . And it is marked on the inside 57 Cadillac hood . However it is just 16 inches from point to point . Looking forward to installing the new McVey Vee . It is beautiful.
