75-76 Eldorado visor repair for those that will not stay up

Anyone have a repair for 75-76 Eldorado Convertible visors that won't stay up?

Two possibilities:
1) there is a plastic bushing that covers the metal prong that the visor slides onto. You can buy a replacement and that may resolve your issue.
2) if the metal prong itself is spinning, then the best fix I've found is to pin it. You get a really small drill bit and drill through the larger metal piece that the metal prong sits inside, through the metal prong, and out the other side, then stick a small nail or something in the hole. Maybe dab super glue on the end to keep it from falling out. Gets the job done and not really noticeable once the visor is remounted.
