That bulb number is 1157A, and should be available at most automotive parts jobbers—my local NAPA has them.  If you remove the old one, the bulb number should be imprinted on the brass base of the bulb.

Bulb Chart pages 12-19 and 12-20 in the 1968 manual.

The front side marker, 97A (painted) is pretty much not available and the amber paint peels off with age. However, you can get a can of orange highway paint and paint over regular 97 bulbs. That's what I do.

I have a supply of these globes
Phillips Minature Light Bulbs Part Number 1157NA.

GE have one the same   26975 1157NA   And Walmart has those according to the Internet

The Minature refers to the fact that they are smaller than normal headlight bulbs

Thank you guys, the first problem I had was I was not sure in the shop manual which was the bulb in the marker lights in the grill area vs. the side marker / cornering light bezels. The second problem was after I disassembled the grill marker assemblies I removed the bad bulb and there was no marking on the base. So I installed an orange 1157 bulb and the turn indicator function worked but not the parking light feature. That treed me and so that is why I asked.

Hi Bill, there should be two dots / contact points on the 1157NA and the locating pins should be one further up than the other (I think)

Do you ever get up to the Tampa / St Pete area? We'd like to see you at one of our monthly dinner meetings. Ans, I'd like to see that 1992 Brougham!

Hello Mike, Thank You, we have my 92 year old Father in law living with us now kind of clips our wings a little also I work between 30 and 40 hours a week now for the last 2 years. Even with me doing most of the work restoring this 1968 DeVille conv. due to the ever increasing inflation insanity the costs have been hard to swallow. Thank God I am almost done. The seats are done and on the 29th. she goes in to have the new top pads and conv. top put on, boy will I be happy for that.

Hi Bill, Yes the cost of Everything has skyrocketed, but we won't get into why here.

You got your seats done? Did they come out good & where did you get them done. Mine are overdue.
Regards, Mike.

Yes Mike, I had them done at Lyle's Vinyl located at 87 5th. Eloise Street Eagle Lake ( Winterhaven ) Florida 33839 Ph. 863 294-7739 His name is Richard and he did both front and back materials and labor total under $ 2,000.00 , I must add that he did the leather parts in an excellent grade of Vinyl as I could not afford white leather 2 hides for $ 2,000.00 each. Also I provided the vinyl bolster material that I purchased for $ 400.00 from SMS Auto Interior's and a small 1968 Cadillac brochure showing the degree of deflection of the buttons. There are 68 buttons on a 1968 Cadillac DeVille leather interior. I will include photo's, you be the judge. PS. if you have never removed your front seat before, call me for some wisdom and headache saving. 863 978-6452.
