Live in Virginia (zip code 22039) Will be working on a 1972 Eldorado convertible soon and need:

Trunk, currently the trunk is a 71 that leaks (vents) and it was drilled for a luggage rack.
Lights behind front seat in side panels against either side of back seats that illuminate when doors open - both missing
Caps on strap (used to close doors) ends that hide screws (all four).  Other years that fit might be OK

Valve covers, breather, and air cleaner housing.  The items on the car now are not correct, the oil system does not breath-all kind of messed here.

This is a #3 minus car generally used to drive and enjoy, looking to get it to be a better driver.

I have miscellaneous parts for 65 thru 70 Cadillacs that we maybe could trade for, but no problem paying cash for these parts.

Hello Scott, I found a rust free AZ desert trunk for a 1972 Eldorado on ebay Item #230820609601. This has been for sale for a long time and he now wants $245.00 & $125.00 shipping. You probably can do better on the price since its been for sale for a long time. I sent him an email about 6-8 months ago telling him it was a 1972 and not a 1971 which he had it listed under. Check it out under cars and trucks 1971 Cadillac Eldorado, parts. I'll keep my eyes opened for some of the other items since I have a 1971 and always find both years listed together. I was looking for those convertible rear courtesy lights for a long time since I have a new pair of rear arm rest repair covers for a convertible with the cut outs for the lights. Haven't ran across any in 4 years. I think I have a 1973?? air cleaner base which I bought for the plastic hose connecter piece only. I think it is the same except this has a short piece of metal tack welded to the air horn end. It looks like it could be removed without any difficulty to facilitate 1971-72 originality. I do not have the cover  as it was rusted through. This base is in much better shape and quite restorable with minor prep work. Let me know and its yours for $20.00 plus shipping. Good Luck, David Symonds
