Been out of cars for a while, missin' my former '37-75 convertible sedan.

I'm on the hunt for a nice original, or older, properly restored '41 to '47 62 Coupe or convertible. Would have to be turnkey or nearly so - I have enough projects to last for the next 227 years, already.

If you have a car that you've been considering selling (or not considering ;)) or if you know of one that could be available, I'd appreciate you getting in touch.

Thanks,

How-ya doin' Harry? Time to get back into the car thing. Been almost 15 years since I sold the '37 twin to yours.

Hope all is well.

Thanks! I love the '41 Fastback. Alas, it's non-Classic (CCCA), so it's gotta be a 62 series.

Hate to say it, but why not jump into one of the project you already have if they are car projects.
I’m actually doing that myself instead of buying another car.

How about a 1940-7567, convertible coupé of the 75 series??
Only 29 or 30 built in 1940.
Old age forces selling some of my cars. Unfortunaltely.
Been a member (#26898) since Feb. 2012 in Germany.
Frame off - nut and bolt - turnkey, of course - not cheap.
Take a look at the pics.

Hi @Hilmar:

I missed your reply, until now. That's beautiful.

I'll message you and we can talk. I wish the car was a bit closer.

Hi Tom:
Thanks for your reply. I'm looking for a 62 series, because it's CCCA eligible, whereas the 61 isn't.

Adam,

This 1947 convertible took 1st place at a recent Cadillac National. It is for sale. The 37 in the last picture is of similar quality and also for sale. Both cars are in Massachusetts.

Thanks,

Is that a factory color, and does anyone know what color it is?

Thanks. I was in contact with the owner of the ‘47 Conv several months ago. He was having some minor repairs done. Then he went AWOL.

Adam - not AWOL at all . Just thought springtime would be a better time to put up for sale . Winter in Massachusetts is not the time to test ride a car . I removed the battery and put her away for a long winter’s nap . But , whenever anyone is interested : $93,000 . Expensive , I know ; but restored correctly . No surprises . Restoration documented with photos and receipts . ...Paul Tesone CLC 6876 .
