Hi All;
  Is there any sealent used between the weather strip and the rear window and windshield?

The answer is yes. I also need to install the windshield and new rubber in mine so I looked it up in the 1939-1940 Fisher Body Manual. There should be sealer under the stainless pinch weld molding if that was removed. There should be sealer in the corner that the rubber presses against. And there should be sealer in the rubber groove, between the glass and the rubber. Also there should be sealer under the stainless center molding.
