Hello everyone.  I'm new to this forum.  I didn't find the search box so please forgive me if this topic has been covered previously.  I'm thinking of purchasing a fairly well kept 1906 Model K Cadillac.  This will be the oldest car I have ever been involved with and I was wondering if anyone knows about some details regarding ownership and maintenance of these very early models.  That's all for now.  Thank you.

If you *really* want to go for it there is a running '03 for sale here in Las Vegas . . . (it even has a detachable starter bolted on, which leaves it perfectly stock when detached)
1972 Eldorado convertible,  1997 Eldorado ETC (now awaiting parts swap from '95 donor), 1993 Fleetwood but no 1926 (yet)

The CLC museum received a donation of a stock quite a bit original 1906 Cadillac a few years ago. The great grand nephew of the original owner still maintains it for the museum. It is on display in the Cadillac building at the Gilmore museum. If you reach out to Tim Pawl, he may be able to connect you with him. Tim's contact information should be available on the CLC museum website.
