Greetings,
Any suggestions regarding re-covering running boards for a 1939 model 75 Cadillac? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
                                                                                        Thanks Barry

Barry,
Have you tried Gerald Capak in Vero Beach Fl.? I bought a set from him a while back and they were excellent. My car is a 90 series but they are
the same pattern ribs and he also supplied the flap that attaches to the body. I found his phone in my archives...(772) 567-5297

Hi Mike, Thanks so much for the info, I did talk to Gerald and what concerned me was that the width is very short of the board, thus creating a peicing of the rubber, is that what you encountered and if so, was it a problem. Thanks Barry

Barry,

The splice is minimal and works out satisfactory.  Considering the options this is a very minor problem.
