The stainless piece which is installed at the rear of my my "64 Cadillac convertible top into which the boot buttons snap when the top is down is missing several of the "anchors" to which the buttons attach (I believe they would be considered the "male" connectors). Any suggestion on where I could locate replacements, or should I just replace them all with new? If so, where would I find new ones?

Look up : http://www.auveco.com and go through their online catalogue. They have so much stuff, you'll have a tough time finding what you want.
But they will have the convertible top snaps you're looking for.
