HI,
I would like to dress up my 1960 Cadillac with nice set of 1956 wheel covers.
The problem is those 1956 wheel covers don't fit my stock 1960 wheels. I'm considering buying a set if 1956 wheels, but can anyone verify if the 1956 wheels will fit my otherwise stock 1960 Cadillac Coupe de Ville?
Thank you!
No, will not fit well in front. Been there, bad idea ;)
A thread that may help is to find in the modified Cadillac forum: "61' hubcaps question"
J Kjerrulf
i've forgotten... ??? do the '56 caps grip the rims at the edge??? if they do and it is smaller than the '60 rim....maybe the '65-66 rim will work as the od of the rim is less than the '64 and earlier rim. maybe.....
Thank you everyone for responding.
I'll search over at the Modified Cadillac forum.
Eldo caps are too expensive.
56' caps do grip on the edges, the rim diameter is 15", I was trying to find a way to use them on a 1960 Cadillac.
Thank you again, Jeffrey B. Goldstein CLC #5876
Opps, where's the Modified Cadillac Forum?
I see that you found us.

I found the modified group, I was thinking they were part of this forum, not a totally seperate group.
I'll poll for answers there, Thanks, Jeff
The Modified "Group" is actually the Modified Chapter, which is one of the Chapters of the Cadillac & LaSalle Club.
