I bought this 8 X 10 on ebay and wanted to share it with the group here.
Pretty cool 1960 Showroom photo.

Love it!
Seeing all the onlookers in their period clothes is amazing. It give such an even better sense of how futuristic these cars must have looked to car buyers back in the late 50's and early 60's.......amazing.....

I love these old period photographs. They are a slice in time. I was given this one by a good friend. A typical line of used cars on the dealer lot in 1956? Note the new '56 Olds in the showroom.

The photo attests to how mesmerizing a 1960 Eldorado Biarritz has always been! Great to see the people drawn to it in that classic showroom setting! The other photo attests to the dominance of Cadillac in the luxury field during that era! The imports were still an unusual and uncommon occurrence.
I love the 60s so much, it and the 57 Eldorado Biarritz coupe are gorgeous.
Notice the Deco theme of the showroom--the floor and "CADILLAC" lettering on the front window.
Also the guy in the front of the photo SMOKING INDOORS!!!!!
If I am not mistaken that Cadillac was in the old Peter Fuller Cadillac dealership at 808 Commonwealth Avenue. Peter Fuller was one of the biggest Cadillac dealers in Boston back in the day. The building is still there although it is owned by Boston University now and is no longer an auto dealership.
