Title: voltage regulator for 1936 LaSalle?
Post by: Herbie on August 27, 2013, 06:49:08 PM
Anybody know of source for a 1936 LaSalle voltage regulator, how to test it, or who can rebuild it?

Delco Remy 5596 is a rare regulator and comes up very seldom on ebay but you never know. I would put a search in on ebay for Delco Regulator 5596, then save that search with ebay. If one does come up on ebay, ebay will send you a notice. You might call KM LifeStyle as they advertise rebuilding regulators. They were at one time Atwater Kent. They reproduce negative and positive coils as well as temp senders for our cars.   Bill
