Hello everyone. The cap that was on the car previously was a 7 pound cap. When I went to the autoparts store they said the O.E type was a 13 pound cap. Is this correct? Was the wrong cap on the whole time. The car only overheated once like 10 years ago. So my question is how many pound cap is correct for my car? Any just to clarify the top hose and radiator only get hot once the therastat opens right? Just want to ensure I did not install the thermostat wrong. Any help is appriciated.
