Title: 1967 Eldorado "plastic clip" in the roof between vinyl and painted pillar
Post by: FinCad on March 18, 2014, 02:42:52 PM
Hi,

I tried to field close up picture or a small part which should be probably plastic and around 2 inches long around half inch wide like curved "c" around the pillar where vinyl and painted metal join together at the roof line.

I am missing those parts I, can someone share a close up picture how those should look like ? marked in the picture with white arrow pointing the clip or clamp (or how do you say it ?)

My car is one to one same combo like in pictures but those parts migth be missing (I don´t know if those ever where there)

Many thanks

I had the same thought, should there be something there ?
Looked at about "a million"photos and I suspect there never was something there.......
Just a very nicely done "glue-job".

Sami and Jerry,

I just shot this in my garage.  It's raining hard here, so I didn't open the next garage door to shoot the passenger side (this is the driver's side).  I still have to do spring cleaning in the garage!  This is a '68 Eldorado, but the '67 is the same.
