Does anyone have a Trico catalog that could look up the Trico numbers for the windshield wiper motor, wiper transmissions, arms, and blades for a 1941 60S? Hershey is coming up and I am updating my cross reference list.
Thanks in advance for the help!
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
I have all that info in my Trico book. If you'd care to call me some evening, I'd gladly read it to you.
Thanks, Bob
Ficken has the arms and blades and should have them at Hershey. I bought a set from him a couple years ago for my 41 6019. His space is near where the Chocolate Annex field blends into the Red Field.
According to the info I have....the wiper motor is a SSM 23 and it is for 1940/1941 60S only.

Bob and Jack, thank you very much for the information! I sincerely appreciate both you gentlemen's time!
J, Ficken is on my list of people to visit at Hershey. Thanks for letting me know his location!
All the best,
Jeff
A lot of the vacuum motors can be used you just need to change the arm used to open and close the valve. I don't know which though.
Jeff, you have a brand new repair kit in the things I gave you with the car.
Trico part numbers for 1941 Cadillac 60s
from 1942 book
Motor SSM-23
blade U-778-9" long
Arm early replacement AL-31
Later replacement AL-60 this arm has an extra piece on end to turn blade for right or left use (not needed on this car) it was mickey mouse, but saved stocking 3 blades.
Dash control 77930-21C
driver linkage 78585-2C
pass linkage 78586-2C
In 1946 up books there is a column "linkage heads and cables" pass H-77773-4C,driver H-77772-4C.I don't know what this part is.Since they are different on most cars,it isn't likely just the exterior chrome part. They also add a "G" in front of linkage number that the 1942 book says means includes gasket.

Thank you, Warren!
