Does anyone know if I can mount a Edelbock 1406 600cfm directly instead of carter on my 63?
The edelbrock will bolt right up. You will need to get a phenolic spacer the same size as the original. The car will run better, and if you don't use a spacer, you will need to block off the exh ports on the intake manifold.
Wire up the electric choke.
MOST important!!! You will need to fab up a bracket to attach the TV rod to. I attached a doc. to show how it works. The TV rod needs to stay in the green.
lastly, you will need an adaptor ring, to run the stock air cleaner housing. www.1963caddyshack.com has them.
