Thanks Jon & Steve, it was on display last week at the Norwegian International Boat Show so it's freshly detailed. Not in concourse condition anymore but it cleans up well for a 13 year old restoration with 30k miles on it.

Hehe, I was thinking the same thing while enjoying my Oreo McFlurry... The guy at the drive-in may still be in shock LOL. Definetly in the wrong location right now, going to Naples next month. The car ships back to America on May 9th, taking it down Route 66 this summer for the second time together with 25 other cars from Scandinavia. www.cruise66.com (http://www.cruise66.com) Should be a good time so I'll endure spending this winter in Norway 8)

Ahhh. You're a lucky man. Just when I think I may be able to let the 61 breathe some fresh air on a nice day after a few days of rain and the roads are clean, the temperatures dip below freezing and out comes the brine.
I did make a vow to drive the car more this year and actually enjoy it for what it was intended and leave the trailer at home. I already booked a trip down to Midcoast Maine for a June show at the Owl's Head Transportation Museum. 3 1/2 hours each way (a bit more if I take the coastal route) and another weekend away in July to Canada's largest car show two hours east of us. They have the largest prize pool in North America. Every year they give away a turn key car - this year a 32 Model A roadster, which, if I were to win would immediately be turned into a mid-50s Cadillac (or a tri-7)
God I hate the salt, been washing our 94 STS daily driver twice a week all winter in hopes of keeping it looking ok. Never heard of a car show with a turn key car as the main prize before, that's awesome!
On another note I just bought this thing on eBay. I could never bring myself to cut up a pair of rust free fenders and a hood like that, but when someone's already done the deed I'll scoop up the pieces 8) I think I'll turn it into an office desk, have a new job lined up in the fall, wonder if they'll let me bring my own desk...

I would put hidden casters on it and cut a tire and wheel in half mounting them to appear that the car was complete. After that I would park it up against my bay 4 garage door. I do not use that bay much and it would appear that I forgot to open the garage door and only got part way out.
If I could find the rear end of a different one I would do the same and park it in front of door 3 which I use a little more frequently.
Sounds like my next winter project??

Although, Gary's idea of putting it in front of a closed garage door - a good one - LOL.
After all, how many of us have been faced with putting a 50's Cad in our garage and hoping the door would close.

I built my 4 car garage 52 X 30 feet. A friend had to chip out part of his foundation so the bumper of his Lincoln continental would fit.

Can't roller skate with all of the tools and parts. I have a car on a lift and two on the floor. Bays 1 and 4 are pretty stuffed with stuff. I have to do a big eBay sale and a dump run to get four on the floor. Back ten feet is all tool boxes and shelving.
Unfortunately when I retired I had a lot of tools and equipment too valuable to throw away and difficult to sell. Anybody need a "Running line tensionometer" It measures tension up to 20,000 pounds on a running cable. Just an example of how hard it is to get rid of some of my stuff.
I gotta move, I would love to have half the house and twice the garage I now have. Anybody else have that problem??

I'm pretty sure the cables to my heater and AC controls wont require your potentiometer.
And yes, I've talked it over with my wife and dumping the 4 bedroom house for a single bedroom house with 12 car garage would be a great plan - sorry kids and grand kids.

My Dad and I just got the car out of the garage this weekend. I was checking the transmission fluid and noticed it was a little low.

We certainly turned a few heads pulling into the parking lot of the nearby AutoZone. Saw a 1965 Cadillac as well, and a current generation Camaro flashed it's high-beams to say "hello!" Two teenagers also yelled out "I love your car!" to us and I did a double take. My Dad was riding shotgun and simply said "You get used to it after a while."
