Check out website for Classic Car Motor Oil. It's formulated for our cars. I use it in my '41. If you go through prior posts you will find a lot of suggestions and opinions.

Stu,

There are not a lot of us with 1938 Series 65! Mine is the Imperial Sedan, divider window. I am finally putting the old girl back together. Can you share pictures? I can send my email if you can help out. Or if you read the Self Starter just use my e-mail listed in my Column (Washburn's Wisdom).

As to the engine in my restored 1937 LaSalle I use 10W/30 which works well in Colorado.

I second the 10W-30 oil for a Flathead...
