Of course I did not mark my lines when I pulled them. The manual shows a not so great illustration 6-1 for flow and hookup.
Does the line at the upper trans coupling run to the drivers side radiator coupling?
Oh yeah, my Inline Tube lines for 59-60 do not work, they run right into the oil filter.
Some of you probably already know. I didn't hear back form them yet. At least the rubber ends will work.
That's how it looks, but it doesn't really matter which way it goes as the oil will flow either way.
Maybe the lines they sent you were for a '59, which doesn't have the spin-on filter.

Thanks. The flow really doesn't matter? That creeps me out.
Anyway, that's why I drove there and showed them my old ones. They didn't look at them much.
At least the rubbers lines are OK.
The part he looked up and handed to me CAT5901 shows 59-60 w AC
but those are change years like you said
so I think the part is wrong for 60.

No, it goes in one end of the cooler, and out the other end.
It is with late-model vertical coolers where it matters. In at the bottom and out at the top? Or, is that the other way around?
Either way, there is very little pressure in these lines. I used an old Ford Cortina Heater core as a transmission cooler in my '36 Ford Coupe way back then.

Thanks!
Generally Into the radiator at the top and Out of the radiator at the bottom. The bottom of the radiator is cooler than the top.
