The seat bottom has to be removed first, and to do this, you have to push har backwards at the front bottom of the seat, about a foot in from the side, and "bend" the seat base to unhook it from the clips.

Then, once both clips are undone, lift it out and place to one side.

The seat back is retained in place by the outer seat belt mounts, and this requires the removal of the large headed bolts, using a socket and extension.

Then, once these two bolts are out, very carefully lift the seat back vertically from the top clips that are attached to the rear frame, and then remove.

NOTE.   If your car has the Light Monitors, then be extra careful with the removal, as the mount will have to be removed from the seat back.

PS.   Pictured in the blue circles are the two seat frame retainers.

You should have seen it before I attacked it.

The complete story of the replacement is shown
