Did he pass away?? I heard it from a second hand source. I'm not sure if this is old news.

Yes, he passed July 15, 2019.  He was 86.  His son Dan is very active in the antique car hobby and was vice president of American Arrow.  I assume (bad word I know) he will carry on the business.
