Title: interior bulbs
Post by: Andy Q on November 09, 2005, 09:13:15 PM
To brighten up a few areas in my instrument panel, I want to replace some lights with higher candlepower (specifically bulb #s 1881 and 57). Does anyone know if there is a reference out there that I can use to change to brighter bulbs that still fit?

Andy, I do not know anything about the replacement bulbs, But they will be brighter if you will replace all of the bulbs with new ones. But, prior to installing new ones, take a Q-tip dipped in washer-fluid and squeezed almost dry and clean the interior glass/plastic lens of the instruments. You can go through the bulb holes. You will notice a BIG difference.
Good Luck, Jim
P.S. Forget about the chiropractor bills, the back will feel better once you can strighten it.LOL
