Mike, I sent last year a correction about a car I have which is incorrectly registered as a model 6219. I could have spare my time: no change. Therefore, I don't care any more. This lack of reaction from the club office was already mentioned in another topic.
::) Last year, I provided information to the CLC office in Columbus that my car was incorrectly listed as a Coupe, instead of a Convertible Coupe. I did not receive a reply at the time.
??? Not receiving an answer to my earlier notification, I sent the following email to the CLC office in Columbus on Sunday 8/12/07:
"My car is a 1939 LaSalle 2-Door Convertible and should be listed as follows:
1939 LAS 5067 CCP
In error it was listed as a 5027 CPE, which is incorrect.
Please make this correction before book is published and also please acknowledge receipt of this email with a very short reply. Thanks, "
Within 24 hours, I received the following reply from Mike Book of the CLC office:
"Already changed previously.
CLC Office Administrators"
Receiving a prompt reply to my request was a relief and leads me to believe that some of our efforts on this forum for better communication with the CLC office are working.

In the end it saves a LOT of time by taking care of things on a daily basis, instead of letting things pile up. I have formed this habit all of my life and never regretted it, as I get things done. The word is "Urgency". Some have it....some do not.
