Hello all, great message forum.I recently aquired a 1958 coupe all original unrestored 33,000 miles.I need to know if there is a diffrence between a coupe and a coupe deville.This car has a/c,air lift power windows and seats but no radio.The body tag on the left side of cowl reads:Style # 58-6237,Body # FW 3246, Trim #30   A2, Paint #10, Top  ACC.EHKVX.Thanks in advance for any help.This is a great car runs and drives perfect.

 The car you bought is a series 62 Coupe style 58-6237. The Coupe DeVille s style 58-6237DX. THe Seville is style 58-6237SDX. The other numbers mean: paint 10 is Black,Trim 30 is Black and White Moroccan Cloth with white coated fabric.The FW is the fleetwood body number. The A2 is a production code  January 1958 ,week 2. The accessory codes are ;E=tinted glass, H=heater,K=air cond.,V=6 way seat, and X=power windows.The differences in your car to a Coupe DeVille are in triming styles,fabric choices, standard equipment (example: 6way seat is standard on DeVille) and Exterior chrome.Warren
