Hi from England,
Having just got my 54 Coupe DeVille back on the road after a nine year absence I am having problems with the power steering pump.
Actually I'm having the same problem with two pumps - I rebuilt one, replacing the bearing etc. and matched the o rings to the nearest I could find over here. This was my mistake as it leaked like a sieve ! I then put a used one on the car which is quiet and operates the steering perfectly, but it also leaks, not quite as much as the other one , but it appears to be from the same area. My question is where can I get the seals or a rebuild kit that works !!!
