1937 hood ornament

Could anyone with an orignal hood ornament please measure the glass vane? I just need a good measurement of the part that extends beyond the metal along the top edge.

There's about 4.7/8" from her hairline to the rear tip.

These may be available from American Arrow Corp at less cost than the trouble of making one if that's what you plan to do.

You might not see it on Arrow Corps site because they are sold under the "Don Summers" name, Try looking up that, Also McVay's had them listed a while back but my catalogue is rather old.
