Can someone tell me the differances between a Deluxe and a standard model 61 4 dr sedan?

Chris Cummings

Sean,

It was basically a trim upgrade.  As I recall (and it's been a while since I've checked) there were only a few dustubguishing features.  Deluxe cars had the cream-colored plastic steering wheel with chrome center and horn ring, as opposed to the three-spoke bakelite wheel.  The door trim panels had a fancier trim strip near the top, with a shield emblem in the middle of it.  I think that the deluxe variant also included wheel shields (what Cadillac called fender skirts) and there may have been a few other differences.

Hope that helps.
