During the rebuild of my 1947 engine, I checked the bracket for the fan blade and fan belt tension adjustment.  Can someone help with information about the bearing on the shaft for the fan blade and the retainer clip that holds it in place.   Are they available yet and where would I find them?

Gary I purchased one for my '48 from Coopers in California.

Take your old one to a bearing house and you may be able to get one brand new.  I did this one time and they supplied the a bearing/shaft assembly except it had shaft out both ends of the bearing.  I took it to a machine shop and they cut if off and voila, I had the exact bearing/shaft assembly.
