The creatures of confusion have me on the run once more. I came across some used rear spring shackle bushings, they are different from what came off the '37 5011 series. The orginal bushings have
what I would describe as wavey thread like rings on the outside of the bushing the part which would be in conact with the spring eye. The just aquired bushings look more like regular threads or consective rings(it is difficult to describe something when you don't know what you're looking at). I don't know if these two different types are interchangeable, or if the orgional bushings are damanged can anyone help? Also, please tell me I'm having fun, I'm begining to wonder.

Your old bushings are probably very worn, they normally come with a shallow thread.

Thank you so much once more Steve! The worn threads are so consistant I didn't know. I believe I am having fun. I post a problem, then I go to bed. I get up and the problem has disappered. Life is easy when you know smart people!
