I am wondering if I should use any weatherstrip adhesive when installing new rubber for the vent window assemblies. I am talking about the ruber that seals the forward the chrome window frame when it is closed.  The seal from Steele fits well into the chromed channel, but am thinking a thin bead of sealer can't hurt, just to be safe.
Thoughts?

Having does this on 3 cars w/o adhesive it is really your call as the rubber does stay in the chrome channel w/o adhesive but I guess it would not hurt if it makes you feel more secure
