I did it once about 4 years ago, and I remember it's not easy, but I forgot how to remove the trim on the drip rail. Anyone have any ideas?

Yes, I've done this more than once...

Take a flat bladed tool like a putty knife and slide it under the molding starting at the windshield and roll the molding up toward the top of the car.  Once you get it started it should just roll off with your fingers.

Thank you Walter. I will try that tonight.

Thanks. This worked out great. The trim is not straight when it came off. Did you have this same result? I assume it will straighten out when it gets snapped back on.

Dan,
As long as it isn't kinked..it should be fine.

So long as you didn't bend it, it'll go back on ok.  Just be careful you don't scratch the roof of the car!
