Battery cables for v-16

What gauge wire was used on the battery cables for a 1940 V-16 (cloth covered?) and
was the negative a flat woven wire. If so was it 0 or 2 gauge.

I know the lengths for both cables the positive is black, the negative is flat woven wire, but I don't know the wire sizes. ANYBODY??????

Sorry, I meant the positive is the woven wire and the negitive is the black cable
