Has anyone had experience with a carb from The Carburetor Exchange in California? I want to replace the Rochester on my ’66 Eldorado with a rebuilt Carter. If you don’t want to post a comment that might be considered negative please send me a Personal Message.

Any comments / help will be appreciated

I use the guys in new Smyrna Beach in Florida forget the name.  Check Hemmings.   Just a few days more shipping.   great work.  They manufacture their own parts

Thanks for the reponse. I should have made it clear that I'm looking to purchase the complete carb, not rebuilding service. The carb on the car now is a Rochester 4GC.......Rebuilders won't accept a different brand as a core.......soon to be found on ebay under "core for sale."

I like the Middlesex NJ firm, "Custom Rebuilt Carburetors" on Wood Ave.   worth a call.  Tom CLC #6866

I also used Daytona Parts, http://daytonaparts.com/ from New Smyrna Beach, FL.. I can recommend them. Good communication, work, price and delivery as scheduled. Carb looks and works great.

You can buy a used one and send it in.
