Doing a little detailing on a "new to me" 1976 Coupe. The car had at one time been completed undercoated, including the "road side" of the front inner fenders. This undercoating had also been applied to the masticated rubber A-arm seals. Well, it's time to replace those seals. Should I also coat the replacement seals, or put them on just as they come out of the box? Thanks in advance!!

I'd probably just leave as is. Unlikely you'll be able to match 40 year old undercoating anyway.
