Did the exhaust come out of the chrome piece that housed the back up lights or did they come out from underneath. Judging from this picture it is hard to tell.

1958 (finally) started running exhaust under bumper.

That is what I thought. Bit on the other models I believe the exhaust ran through the slots in the bumper.
