1938 Lasalle starter

Looking for a starter . To fit in a 1938 LaSalle

Title list 39 starter wanted and text is 38.  These are different but maybe not if the starter clutch is switched (wrong name sometimes used- Bendix). 38 and earlier had a different pitch on the pinion gear as compared to 39 and later except for the V-16 which retained the 38 pinion until production stopped in 1940.  This is info you only find out the hard way.
