Hello,
I am trying to see if there are any other cars that have the same trunk torsion bars as a 1968 DeVille convertible. I see someone selling a pair from a 70 2 door hard top and wonder if they will fit. One of my torsion bars is busted, and the trunk lid will not stay up. They don't make new ones of my year and I cant find them anywhere.

Alex,
1967 through 1970 will interchange. 1971 and later are different.  You may also find that the larger B-bodied Buicks and Oldsmobiles, as well as the C-bodied Electra 225 and Ninety Eight, will also work.
