'77 Seville - washer bottle float unit

Has anyone repaired, had to pieces the '78 Seville washer bottle low-fluid float unit? JP

If its the same as the other 70's cads apparently the issue is the actual float gets saturated over the years and no longer floats.   Seems like I read you can bake them to revive them.    Only trick other than knowing how long and hot to bake em is carefully grinding off then replacing the rivets that hold it all together. 

Hopefully someone else can find the tread or remember the details better than I can.

I have successfully baked it. The secret recipe is 3-4 hours in 120 celsius = about 250 fahrenheit.
