I know the Series 75 carried over the 47 body up until 49, unlike the other Caddys. Did it get the new engine in 49, or did it carry over the flathead too?

Huge piles of engine parts, brackets, tin, Hydramatic & Jetaway parts,  thousands of stainless moldings, dozens of perfect sedan doors.
