**** 2009 Las Vegas Grand Nationals ****
I am from the north east coast and am a member of the club. I was wondering if there were any other member or non-members that were thinking of attending the 2009 Las Vegas Grand Nationals and shipping their car(s) out.  I was thinking of an enclosed trailer - and if possible round trip with a few other interested parties.  Please email me to discuss.

I think that this could be benificial to anyone who is interested by minimizing cost of shipping your precious toy!!!

Not sure if doing it as a group would really minimize the cost.  Unless you were to hire a private hauler, the cost and logistics would be somewhat difficult.  I am sure that you realize that if you ship it out, you would have to ship it back.

Whether you use a private or public hauler, they would have to make different pickups at different locations, with one drop off location.  The return would be the opposite.  The same pickup point and dropping off at different locations.  If you were to use a private hauler, you might have to cover the cost of the hauler's stay in Las Vegas.  There is also the matter of most haulers require someone to be there when the vehicles are dropped off.  The first problem would be to get all the participants to agree on a hauler.

Not to say that doing this is impossible , just difficult.  You would need someone to be "spokesperson" for the group, and do all the footwork, such as collecting monies, forwarding them to the hauler, and sort of setting up a itinerary for the hauler.

Hey its worth a shot, and good luck.
