Just a general question/concern about this feature, not currently having any issues. Any problems that are endemic to this option? I'm guessing that over time there could be leaks in the system, are there replacement parts or shocks available, etc.? Thanks for any education you can provide.

Chris, not to worry. On the other hand, nothing I ever worried about happen. Chris, it is MHO that some day you will need to replace something. I you see something in your travels and you thank you may need it someday, go ahead and buy it, You may never need it, but it is better to have it available then not. Good Luck,Jim

Yours would be the first 65-66 I would have seen working. Mine was removed and it's a manual fill from a valve in the trunk now.  Jim

I keep the ALC in my 68 ELDO running even after 300,000 miles.  It takes a source of parts an occasional cleaning the compressor.
