I've been seeing some pictures lately of, mainly Fleetwoods, claiming to be titled as 1968s but they have the 1967 grilles, turn signals, and sidemarkers.  Any input?  Is it possible some were leftovers from 1967?

There is NO such thing as left over cars and/ or last years parts used on the next model year. Either the sellers don't know what year the car actually is or it's had some incorrect year parts installed because of body damage. Lots of people who make these changes think it's sort of "cute" & when they go to sell the cars they come up with fantastic stories. HTH, Bob

BOTH front and rear ends were changed for 1968.  Parking lamps, a distinctive one-year-only hood with a cove moulding and the first-year of rear marker lamps in the bumper are hallmarks of the year.  Plus, 1968 had a new 472 engine.

Although it resembled a '67, the '68's were really an all new car in many ways.
